FAQ

1- How often should I brush my teeth?
In general, it is recommended that you brush your teeth after every meal (three times a day) for two minutes. Correct toothbrushing includes vibratory circular movements, from back to front. Never forget to brush your teeth before going to bed as overnight is when your teeth are highly exposed to bacteria attacks.

2- How do I know which toothbrush to choose?
To select the proper toothbrush you have to take into consideration two main aspects: bristle hardness (soft, medium or hard) and size of the head (normal or small). The hardness will depend upon your brushing technique, your gums, etc. Your dentist can, after an exam, determine the best toothbrush for you so that you can obtain the most effective oral hygiene, with no harm or burden.

3- How often should I replace my toothbrush?
We recommend replacing the toothbrush when its properties, such as hardness or stiffness of the bristles, become damaged. Damaged bristles might hurt your gums. The average replacement time is every three months.

4- How often do I need to replace the interproximal brush?
Interproximal brushes have a determined life and use. If they are properly used, with the correct technique and the correct size for every space, they usually keep their hardness and stiffness properties for one week.

5- Do all toothpastes, gels and mouthrinses from DENTAID contain mint?
All DENTAID toothpastes have some mint flavour.
