DENTAID is proud to announce that it has renewed its partnership to the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) for the next three years.
The EFP is the greatest federation in the world of Periodontology, representing scientific organizations from 25 different countries. The main purpose of the EFP is to promote periodontology, and in general, periodontal health, both in Europe and around the globe, through scientific research, education and development.
DENTAID was the first company world-wide to be partner of this Federation, reflecting its solid loyalty to collaborating with major scientific associations. With this agreement, both organizations will continue to work together to improve the level of oral health throughout society.

The purpose of the 1,800 € award is to promote initiatives aimed at improving oral health and communication with patients.
Dentaid, a leading oral pharmaceutical company, is once again sponsoring the HIDES Scientific Award for 1,800 €. In addition to this scientific category, the HIDES Award for Oral Communication and the HIDES Poster Award are also being organised and endowed with 600 € each.
The awards, which are open to all professional hygienists who form part of the Spanish Federation of Oral Hygienists, are meant to encourage members to sustain a high level of research and progress in issues related to oral health and to reach for higher scientific and technical standards. The deadline for submitting projects will be 45 days prior to the HIDES National Workshop.
This initiative demonstrates DENTAID’s continued support to dental hygienists, a community that works side-by-side with dentists. Dentaid also shows its commitment to this group of professionals by organising workshops throughout Spain through Aula Dentaid, its educational division.
The HIDES 2011 Awards will be given out at the HIDES National Workshop for Hygienists that will be held this year on October 21, 22 and 23 in Agoncillo, La Rioja, Spain.

In this XV edition of the Aspid Awards for Iberoamerican Health and Pharmaceuticals Advertising, an event that has been organised by Sepromark Pharmaceutical Marketing Club and PM Farma Magazine since 1996, a total of 162 entries in the different categories were presented, and the award ceremony took place on June 14 in the Auditorium of the World Trade Center of Barcelona.
