Sensitive Teeth
Dental hypersensitivity is a transitory pain derived from the dentine exposition that appears in connection with a chemical, thermal or tactile stimulus that cannot be associated with any other dental ailment.
Not paying attention to sensitive teeth can derive into other oral problems. For instance, if pain does not allow a normal brushing this can cause an increase in the risk of caries or gums diseases.
Acidic products in your diet attack teeth and cause a loss of tissue. This is why avoiding consumption of citric such as grapefruit or orange juices, fresh tomatoes, yoghurts and sodas can cause a quick erosion of the dental tissue.
In order to lessen these symptoms you need to use soft bristles tooth brushes and chemical products like tooth pastes and mouth washes with de-sensitizing agents.
